For the past decade, much of contemporary interior design has chased a certain idea of perfection: pale surfaces, quiet minimalism, and spaces so restrained they sometimes felt almost untouchable. But lately, I've noticed a shift... Interiors in 2026 are warmer. Softer. More personal. And far more tactile. The industry is quietly moving away from the stark minimalism that dominated the 2010s and early 2020s and toward what some refer to as Modern Tuscan or Warm Functionalism.
